Iapos;m curious, how much personality do you give your characters, and how much do those personalities influence how you play the characters? Iapos;m not talking about histories or backgrounds, just attitudes to life.
Personally, when I started playing three years ago, I had no intention of giving them any personality at all. Somehow, though, they have developed anyway, and have really wound up affecting my gameplay.
